Tethered Tensions, 2017
The artists own spun hair, mirror, concrete, porcelain. 11 x 14 ft.
This installation presented at the Phoenix Art Museum composed of 500 feet of the artist’s own spun hair suspended with hundreds of small mirrors and tethered to six futuristic concrete sculptures in an immersive space to consider ominous reflections, tensions and the fragile interconnected counterbalances between humanness, ecology and cosmology.
