CONDUIT & CONVERGENCE

A commissioned copper wall installation for the main lobby of 100 MIL in Tempe, Arizona and included in the permanent art collection of Cousin Properties. This copper plates are a collage that integrates images of circuit boards and aerial photographs I captured over the city of Tempe. The circuitboard pattern is of a motherboard developed by (now closed) Motorola semiconductor plant a few miles from this building to and used draw connections between shapes, patterns, and composition both the city and the circuit share. Side by side, they present a near identical visual language.
